Finding what to wear during pregnancy is hard, especially when your old clothes don’t fit anymore.  A lot of things change about your body when you are pregnant and that’s because of changes in your food habits, lifestyle, and hormones.

The more prominent your baby pump is the more you have to make changes to your choice of clothing, no more tight-fitting clothes, and more oversized outfits (lol).

The fact that you are pregnant doesn’t mean you should stop looking stylish.

So, here are some great styling tips for looking good and comfortable throughout pregnancy.

Wear Breathable Fabrics

During pregnancy, you should stick with lightweight and breathable fabrics. Your body temperature is not something you can predict when you are pregnant, you can feel hot or cold. So going with lightweight materials and a Jack or sweater will make it easy for you to switch up to the weather.

Fitted Silhouette Dress

You can intensify your newfound pregnancy curves with a fitted silhouette. This will not only emphasize the lovely shape it makes you look chicer and slimmer. That’s if you don’t mind showing off your baby bumps.

Peplum dresses or Tops  

If you are pregnant and not ready to share the good need yet, a peplum is a perfect outfit to hide the baby bump.

Wear supportive underwear

The bodysuit will comfortably accommodate your size because of its elasticity. They are great for belly bands and the good news is they will still fit you after childbirth.  

Use a Belt

Wear a belt if you want to give emphasis to your baby bump. It is a great paternity trick that helps you create a form for your body too.

You can style them with tunics, tops, and long tees. Place the belt under your bust and ensure that the belt goes over the tops and dresses to secure the belly wrap.

Comfortable footwear

Your footwear should be as comfortable as possible. There is a tendency that your feet might swell when you’re pregnant, so you need good shoes to provide stability and supports your weight increases.

Heels can be risky during pregnancy so it is advisable to wear loafers, pumps, and peer toes just to ensure you are prevented from injury. You need the right shoes.
