Your heartthrob just proposed? Lawd! There is a wedding to plan!

You may not want a wedding planner, for personal reasons, or affordability? let’s take you through how to begin your wedding planning

How to choose wedding venue

The major thing you want to consider before planning is location.

Do you want a destination wedding? Are you taking it to your home town or around your residence? All of these can blow up your budget or reduce it immensely. Planning your logistics properly is important in cutting out your stress.

Your style

Stay true to yourselves, create your trend. Going all out for something on social media could cost more. Decide the type of wedding. Is it just a court wedding, traditional wedding, church wedding, or the three? Which can you afford? Begin to plan based on your choice.

Budget

Create a budget that will not burden you and your partner even after the wedding. A budget you both will stick to. Heads up, guys! Going out of your budget could mess up your wedding. You cannot afford to run out of cash, honestly, you would have expenses you did not foresee pop up on that day. Whatever your budget, have money saved up for emergencies.

Size

Do you want an intimate wedding or a talk of the town wedding where the creme de la creme of the society will be present? It has often caused arguments and fights between the couple and the family before the wedding.

Security and other amenities

Some wedding venues provide security personnel, while you have to employ security at some. Check for the neatness of toilets at the venue, generator services (you may have to pay service charges for security and generator if those will be provided), parking space, and the time that the hall will be closed.

Have you decided what to wear?

Deciding what to wear could elevate your stress level to 100%. The type of wedding determines what you would likely wear. Get a trustworthy and experienced vendor to supply your dresses. At least a month before the day, your dresses should be ready.

Food, Food, Food!

Make your guest no go swear for you. Please get a caterer. We don’t want your stress hormones switching up. Getting caterers and ushers could reduce the rowdiness at your party

Bonus tip

Get you some support. Someone who will help you with things. Could be your sister or friend. This person could help reorganize and bring out details that have been forgotten. Seek advice from local vendors, you will be surprised at what they will dig up for you. Have fun planning your wedding and best of luck. xoxo
