Everyone’s definition and opinion about causal sex are different. Note that there is no universal meaning for casual sex, people have given it a different meaning for some, it’s having fun, getting their vibes on and some people even feel empowered by casual sex.
My definition of casual sex is simple, it means two people having sex without commitments, basically sex for fun with strangers or acquaintances.
This is not to say that casual sex is meaningless. There are rules to everything we do in life and it doesn’t exclude casual sex

1. Work on yourself: if you want to have casual sex, one thing you need to do is work on yourself, you need to look good, smell good and feel good and for all this to happen you have to pay attention to every detail in your body.
Work on your skills, manners and personality. Exercise and eat right, be hygienic, read books and change your wardrobe.
2. Set boundaries from the start; It is very important that you set boundaries and layout your expectations before engaging in casual sex, this way you both know where you stand and what to expect out of the event.
And have a good understanding of why you are doing this so that no party is left heartbroken.
3. Use protection at all costs.: To avoid sexually transmitted diseases and the like, always use protection before engaging in any sexual activity with anyone. You are just looking for a hookup, not infections or babies. So make sure you are safe at all times.
4. Pick right: Causal sex don’t just happen immediately you set your eye on someone, the first thing you do is get to know who they are that way you can determine if they are right or wrong for you.
It’s important that whoever you have sex with as to be someone you won’t later regret sleeping with. Also do not have casual sex with a colleague from work or a friend it could get messy after, so avoid messy at all cost.
5. Be respectful: The fact that you are having casual sex with someone doesn’t mean you should be disrespectful toward them.
Regardless of what your relationship may be, show respect at all times. You should never be disrespectful to the person you are having sex with, it’s stupid and annoying.
When you are rude and careless, what you’re doing is discarding the fact that they are humans with feeling too, irrespective of the fact that they don’t want commitment.
6. Keep things simple: Ask a simple harmless question, like what books do you read, where they grow up, there is no need for deep conversation and all.
Don’t suggest hanging out or letting them meet your friends, this is going to make things complicated and complications is what we are trying to avoid. Just keep it light and simple and extremely causal as it should.
Finally, casual sex can be an amazing experience. And it can also make you feel guilty and unsatisfied and that’s okay because causal sex isn’t made for everyone.
It may be good and okay for some but it doesn’t make it good and okay for you. Just find what works for you and stick with it. People are different and it’s s okay to be different and not do the same thing every other person is doing.
