Stop Buying Fake Perfume? Check Tips On How to Identify Fake Perfumes

You must be excited to know that you can finally know a fake perfume product. This can be a stressful task, but with a close look and study, you can spot the difference between a real and fake perfume product saving your skin from getting damaged.

A fake perfume product is a copy of an already existing perfume; it comes in the same pack, appearance, colour, smell etc.

However, people purchase a copy of a perfume brand because they can’t afford the original.

Here are 5 out of many ways to identify a fake perfume product;

1. Price
2. Paperboard
3. Bottle
4. Colour
5. Smell

1. Price
This is the major aspect when considering a good perfume. Imagine you getting a Dior product for $5? When you see a price tag of a quality perfume at a low cost, that’s too good to be true……. Avoid!!!!

2. A paperboard is always found in an original perfume package, it helps protect the perfume and avoid damage while in motion. Copied products do not have them.

3. Bottle
Quality Perfume bottles are smooth, made with superior quality materials and tight-fitting caps. If a Perfume cap isn’t tight, the writing on the body has grammatical misspelling; these are signs of copied products.

4. Color
This can be known only if you have used the Perfume before. You’d notice discolouration, or super dark colour (might be expired). Do not purchase such products PLEASE; it is dangerous to the skin. Note: Famous brands do not use lots of dye in their product

5. Smell
The smell of a fragrance aligns with its longevity. If you had an experience with a particular perfume brand, then you can notice this early if the fragrance doesn’t smell as usual.
