It is 2am in the morning and you just finished watching an amazing movie, your tummy rumbles, not for the need to use the loo but for food. The only thing you can think of is doughnuts, bread, cheese, and chin chin, someone we know will even opt for cake and cheese!

Jeez! Did you not just finish two bottles of soda while shopping at noon???

Look, eating junks is super addictive, even when you get tired of a particular one, there is always another waiting to be devoured.

For the sweet-toothed, sorry ehn, a conscious and consistent effort must be in the works any day, every day to stop eating junks.

Particularly, when you crave something and you get to eat it, it gives this unexplainable joy. That might be one of the reasons you indulge.

Let’s face it, man can do nothing except he is determined to. Our mind is the first place of action, it propels us to act physically. Do you really want to stop eating junks?

First, while shopping, have a list of your groceries and exclude any processed food or pastry. Add enough fruits, nuts, proper food, and vegetables.

Have a plan or an idea of what you want to eat and make it available. This prevents you from just grabbing anything on your way when you feel hungry.

Some people actually just like to always munch on something. Make your fruits available. Handy fruits like apples, oranges, berries can be packed in your bag. Tiger nuts are filling as well and contain a lot of fibre.

Avoid stress, if you cannot, try to rest and take breaks from time to time. We all have a different response to stress. Some people crave sweets, cakes while stressed either emotionally or physically.

When you think about your health, you would focus more on eating healthy. Unhealthy fat is not good for your heart, think of this whenever you pick up a pizza.

Then when you do eat it, think about it when you are taking too much. Naturally, you know when enough is enough, you just choose not to listen.
