While growing up, I heard a lot of unfounded stories about sex, well now I know better. The list is endless, come along, let’s bust these sex myths.
The bigger the size of the penis, the more enjoyable and pleasurable it will be
The big penis does not equate to ‘big/more’ pleasure. Small penis too gives pleasure, everyone has their sizes preferences, ‘cut your coat according to your size.’
Compatibility and communication are determining factors in the degree of pleasure you derive from sexual activity.
One of such myths is that sex feels better with a bigger penis!
All women experience orgasm through penetration
Studies have continuously debunked the myth that “all women experience orgasm through sexual intercourse” as false. And studies have shown that almost 75 per cent of women cannot achieve orgasm through penetration alone.
According to another recent study published in the Journal of Sex and Marital Therapy, nearly 37 per cent of women said they need some other sort of stimulation during intercourse to achieve orgasm.
Many women achieve orgasm through clitoral stimulation or vaginal penetration along with other forms of stimulation which are normal
Men want and think sex
You must have heard that they say men jump at every opportunity to have sexual intercourse – they want it and they are always thinking about it.
Let’s bust this too, it is completely untrue! Men are sex freaks as a result thinks of it every seven seconds.
A recent study from Ohio State University published in the Journal of Sex Research effectively debunks this myth.
Looking to tally up the true number of times men (and women!) thought about sex in a day, the university had 238 students keep track of their thoughts about food, sex, or sleep for one whole week.
And they found out that men think about sex far less than you think, averaging about 19 sex thoughts per day instead of the nearly 8,000 thoughts per day that would be netted if men were thinking about sex every seven seconds.
Thoughts about food came in at a close second, with 18 thoughts per day, while sleep amounted to 11 thoughts per day. As for the women?
They averaged about 10 thoughts about sex, 15 thoughts about food, and 8.5 thoughts about sleeping per day.
The more sex a lady has, the more loose her vagina will be
Ageing and childbirth are the factors known to alter the vagina. The vagina is extremely elastic and can expand, especially when aroused the muscles of the vagina relaxes, which allows for penetration.
After sex, it returns to its normal shape and tension. You must have heard about sex myths, share with us the ones you found to be untrue.
