There are several ways to do it, some of which can be done at home.

    1.   Pumice stone: This is the most popular method and can be done at home. However, if you want star treatment, you can also get it at a beauty clinic or spa. Most pedicurists offer this service, too. If you are doing this at home,;

    • Dip the pumice stone and your feet in water. (Leave your feet in water for about ten minutes).
    • Use the stone to scrub your feet in circular and side-to-side motions gently. Focus on the top layer of the hard skin.
    • After removal, ensure you apply a lotion or oil to your feet.

    2.  Parrafin wax: This can be done at home if you are assured you can handle the wax without incident. If not, please get it done at a nail salon. For this method, the wax is melted in heat, but it should not be hot enough to burn your skin.

    • Dip your feet in the wax several times till the wax is correctly layered on your feet.
    • Wrap your feet in plastic till the wax hardens.
    • Once you remove the hardened wax, all the hard skin will come off.

3.Oatmeal scrub: This can quickly be done at home.

    • Mix oatmeal with rose water or milk.
    • Let it sit on your feet for thirty minutes.
    • With a foot brush, exfoliate your feet
    • Rinse with cold water afterwards and allow it to dry.
    • Apply lotion afterwards.

    4.   A vinegar soak: You can use any vinegar you have at home.

    • Soak your feet in one part vinegar and two parts cool water.
    • Let feet stay in for five to ten minutes
    • You can use a pumice stone to scrub your feet for a couple of minutes if you prefer
    • Dry your feet and apply a thick moisturizer like Vaseline, for example.

Mind you, this method should not be used too frequently as it can dry the skin.
