Lemon facial scrub
People with oily skin types usually tend to suffer more from blackhead problems. This lemon scrub will help to exfoliate your skin and remove oil.
Combine equal quantities of baking soda and lemon juice, mix it thoroughly, then apply the paste to your face using your fingers and massage for 3-4 minutes. Wash it off and pat your face with a warm towel; follow up with an oil-control moisturiser. Do this twice a week.
-Tomatoes
Tomatoes contain salicylic acid, making them a great ingredient for oily skin. It helps unclog pores and treat acne. Slice the tomatoes and apply it onto your face for about 5 minutes, rinse thoroughly with warm water, and pat dry.
Facial treatment for dry skin: Dry skin produces less oil which causes the face to be tight, itchy and dry. Treat dry skin by using oils and moisturisers that protect the top layers of your skin so your skin can absorb oil.
-Oils: After exfoliating your face, apply any of these oils; Jojoba, Coconut, Sunflower, Argan, Olive, Almond, Tree, Sandalwood, Frankincense and Rose oils.
It helps lock in the vitamins into the skin layers and hydrate acids into the facial. These oils will not leave your skin oily but make it smoother, moisturised and glowing. –
Buttercream: Cocoa, Shea, Avocado, and Mango buttercreams can help moisturise the skin and improve the effectiveness of Vitamin E and C in the skin.
Treatment for oily skin with pores
You have probably tried several treatments, but nothing seems to be working for your pores; some daily or weekly routines can help unclog your pores and reduce oiliness.
Wash your face with warm water daily
Washing your face twice daily with warm water can unclog pores; when cleansing your face, use a mild soap. It helps prevent clogs and reduce oiliness. Get a towel and gently pat the face dry before applying an oil control moisturiser.
Treat pores
Pores can look larger if you have oily skin; always be gentle with your skin, and never scrub or squeeze your skin. Using a skincare product that contains Vitamin C (face serum) can help fight bacteria and toxins.
Exfoliate
Exfoliating your face makes pores less noticeable. When exfoliating, you need to avoid alcohol-based products. To get your desired result without damaging your skin, you need to see a dermatologist.
