Fertility Yoga to Improve Egg Quality

Fertility yoga is frequently regarded as helpful in raising the quality of eggs.

Although there is little data, yoga’s ability to reduce stress may help reproductive health inadvertently.

Furthermore, some positions and breathing exercises may improve blood flow to the reproductive organs, which could improve the quality of the eggs.

However, before beginning any new fitness program, especially if you’re trying to conceive, it’s imperative to speak with a healthcare professional.

Paschimottanasana

The seated forward bend, or paschimottanasana stretches the hamstrings, hips, and lower back.

It reduces stress and sadness and stimulates the ovaries and uterus to help with embryo implantation.

  • Stretch your legs out and take a seat on the floor.
  • Lay your hands over your thighs.
  • Raise your arms above your head and extend them straight as you inhale.
  • Hold your toes while you slowly bend forward as much as you can while maintaining a straight back.
  • Lean forward till your head touches your knees.
  • In this position, hold your breath and count five numbers.
  • Raise your torso to its starting posture and plant your hands on your thighs.

Pose of the Cobra

To improve blood flow to the ovaries and uterus, the cobra stance lengthens and extends the upper and lower back. (On the other hand, if pregnancy is suspected, avoid it.)

  • With your hands facing your shoulders and your palms flat on the mat, assume a face-down position on the floor.
  • Extend your legs a little.
  • Arch your back upward as far back as is comfortable while pressing onto your hands.
  • Narrow your waist, but leave your glutes alone. Take five deep breaths and hold.

Surya Namaskar

It is a well-known treatment for menstrual cramps that is also beneficial for menopausal management.

Owing to its strengthening effects on the uterus, Surya Namaskar Yoga also contributes to a relatively easy labor and delivery experience.

  • It enhances the body’s ability to reproduce.
  • Eliminates any underlying defects resulting from the dysfunction of the sexual glands.
  • Further enhances a person’s healthy sexual appetite.

Pose With Legs Up the Wall

This pose helps to increase blood flow to the pelvis and relax the muscles of the vaginal wall.

Lie on your back with your legs raised and resting against the wall, your bottom placed against the wall.

Your torso and legs should be at a 90-degree angle with one another.

For ten to fifteen breaths, hold this pose to relax the pelvic floor and encourage fertility.

Goddess Position

In addition to being very beneficial for increasing blood flow to the reproductive organs and opening up the hips and pelvis, the goddess position is particularly empowering for women.

Place your feet three feet apart, bend your elbows to shoulder height, and turn your palms towards each other to strike the goddess posture.

As nearly as possible, turn your feet outwards at a 45-degree angle.

Squat down by bending your knees over your toes as you release the breath.

It’s acceptable to begin with a higher squat and then go lower as your flexibility increases during your yoga practice.
