A few years back Babs graduated as a first-class student from high profile university, he studied Computer Science and wanted to be a software engineer.
Babs is so brilliant and intuitive it didn’t really take much for him to stand out in school, he had always been like that but one thing was missing in his story and that never made him feel good enough or worthy enough. It was his father’s approval.
Babs father is a renowned doctor, quite famous for his discoveries and inventions but he was quite terrible at being a father. His intentions were pure but his approaches were terrible, he would reprimand Babs every time he got less than perfect and every time he got perfect scores he would remind him of when he was too careless he got less.
His father would always tell him that he was not good enough. When he was in high school, he was forced to quit training so hard to see if he could make it to the next level because he was terrified of his father’s criticism.
I recall Babs coming home one afternoon for supper, all happy with his 92 percent math score. Instead of congratulating him, his father inquired as to what happened to the other 8%.
However, he realizes that no matter what he tries, he will never meet his father’s expectations. So when Babs grew up into a teenager he wanted and searched for approval in all the wrong places, especially in all the things he knew his father would never approve of.
So when he first met Rony it was about her beauty but when he started to know her more it was about proving his father wrong because Rony was not just beautiful but she was brains too and everything one could seek in darkness.
As a child, Rony had to bare her family burden as the first child so she grew up too fast and learn all sorts of skills to survive including manipulation and this time she had it all over Babs there was no way out until the day she threw him the bottle that cut him so much and landed him in the hospital.
