Have you ever considered using contact lenses? For people who wear glasses, contact lenses may be a better option. You will not have your glasses sliding down your nose, and you will not have those marks they leave behind.

Contact lenses work just as well as eyeglasses; some people may claim that they work even better (although this is an opinionated assumption).

Contact lenses give the wearer a more comprehensive view of what is in sight. It gives all of this without the distortions and obstructions common to glasses.

With all this preamble, we can see that contact lenses are good options for any glass wearer, but what about fashion lovers? Is it cool to wear contact lenses just for the heck of it?

While our eye colours are beautiful all by themselves, there is no harm in having a little fun with them. Using contact lenses allows you to try out different looks and enhances the natural beauty of your eyes; it is just like eye makeup.

The best part is that there are many colours to choose from. You could be blue-eyed for a month and green-eyed the next month; it depends on your choice and what best suits your skin tone. Let us do a little exploration, shall we….

What colours do you think best suit dark skin tones? It all d, depends on the wearer and how well they rock their looks, or they could consider any of these colours;

– Amethyst: This creates a mysterious and alluring look.

 Brown: Brown pairs well with any shade of melanin, be it light or dark brown. You can never go wrong with brown.

Blue: This is everyone’s favourite and worth a try.

 How to wear your contacts responsibly

Wearing contacts can be all fun and games till it becomes a nightmare. To prevent ‘Had I known’ situations, you must hygienically and responsibly care for your contact lenses. Here are a few tips to keep close to heart;

1.              Always store and clean your contact lenses with a solution.

2.              Never (and this is a big never) reuse your solutions. If you cannot afford the time and money to buy a proper solution for your contact lenses, you should not wear them.

3.              Ensure you get the type of solution recommended by the manufacturer.

4.              Do not share your contact lenses with anyone.

5.              Change your contact lens solution as often as possible (possibly daily).

6.              Ensure your hands are clean before putting on or removing your contact lenses.

7.              If an optometrist recommends your lenses, you must follow every advice and prescription.

Contact lenses can help you see better (when medically recommended) or give you a new look. Though contact lenses may be an adventure, you must remember that it is an adventure with lots of responsibility.
