Making Laundry Bar Soap
Now that you are aware of the ingredients you will require to manufacture your first batch of laundry soap, let’s learn how to make bar soap that will be sold.
In one of the fermenting tanks, add 4L of water, caustic soda, and kaolin. Use a rod to stir the tank well. After 48 hours, cover the tank.
Add 2.5L of water, soda ash, and sodium sulfate to a different fermentation tank. After giving the tank a good stir with a rod, leave it covered for 24 hours.
After the fermentation has finished in both tanks, melt the palm kernel oil and stir in the colorant. Take the oil off the stove and let it cool.
The caustic soda solution should be added to the mixing tank along with the melted oil, and everything should be thoroughly mixed.
After that, mix well before adding the soda ash solution. Give the mixture another thorough stir after adding the silicate.
Finally, whisk the soap mixture thoroughly before adding the scent. The mixture should be set in the molds after two to three hours.
Cut the soap into equal-sized bars before it hardens fully. Mark every bar. Pack the soap once it is finished. Your soap is ready for sale.
