My Prince Charming-A Tale of Finding True Love Part 2
My so-called knight in shining armour, who will save this princess that has been deprived of love. James, I can’t tell you how many nights I’ve stayed up thinking about how amazing we’d be together and how adorable our children will be when we have them.
“How stupid can a girl be?” I’m sure you’re thinking. It’s fine if you are, and it’s mostly because you haven’t met him yet, but I guarantee you will fall even harder than I did when you do.
He has a lot of a girl’s flaws, he is tall, dark-skinned, and well-muscled in all the right places. You may get caught in his brown eyes with touches of gold, causing you to confuse love for him faster than you can spell the word love.
We met during the onboarding process at my new office. He walked in with all his glory, introduced himself as the hiring supervisor for the company and that he has been with them for 2 years now.
Anyway, I couldn’t meet in during the employment process and all, because he had other things he was attending to.
During that lecture, I’m not sure I paid attention to anything he said because, oh my God, man is fine. If he had been a model, he would have had a more successful career. My soul was soothed by his deep, rich voice.
I was thankful for the opportunity to wear my sultry short grey dress today during the onboarding process. My roommate tried to persuade me not to wear this outfit this morning, something along the line of it’s unprofessional but I’m glad I ignored her (Thank Goodness).
He asked to speak with a few folks after the session, and guess what? That list did not include me which sucks. However, I have made it my personal mission to pique his interest in whatever way I could.
I need him to pay attention to me and notice me. I knew I’d only just met him, but I desperately wanted him to notice me, and despite my stunning clothing and a large smile, he simply strolled out of the room without a glance in my direction.
