The one thing that first comes to mind to be inside the handbag is feminine supplies. You might not be able to carry a pack of pads or liners around but one or two pads will come in handy.
You may never know when mother nature comes calling. Yea, yea, there are Apps used to monitor these things but sometimes it ends up visiting you way before the speculated time or after.
You might end up having a really bad day when your period suddenly arrives and you have to start looking for where to get painkillers. A sachet of painkillers in your purse just in case.
Wet wipes: Smudged makeup, sweaty oily face, sweaty uncomfortable feeling underarm, you never can tell when the need will arise for wet wipes.
A lip gloss or lipstick is necessary to spice up your look. It becomes a necessity if you naturally have dry flaky lips. Reapply when dry, helps you prevent cracks or bleeding on the lips. Oh, again, it will be December in a bit and harmattan is around the corner. Add some gloss to your grocery list.
Lawd!!! Vex money, we do not hold vex money only on dates, there may be a spike in transport fare here, a little bit of an urgent need there, even an opportunity to get a product you have been sourcing for but coincidentally seen at an outing. It is a cashless policy era but sometimes cash in hand saves us a lot of embarrassment. Just a little extra cash will do.
Mints, a nice breath and you might just have people saying yes to you all day, ‘never be caught unfresh’.

We sometimes do not see reasons we should have an ID. It could be your work ID, school ID or even club ID. It does not always have to be for negative reasons though, presenting your ID could open unexpected doors for you sometimes and other times could save you from a lot of trouble.
