Proposing in public appears to be becoming more widespread, with increasingly extravagant and grandiose outfits and a large number of participants and witnesses. It’s unclear if this is a new phenomenon or one that we’re simply now recognizing as a result of our internet culture, which allows things to become “viral” more frequently.
