Menstrual Pads are absorbent rectangles that connect to the inside of a girl’s underwear and gather blood during her period. They’re also known as sanitary napkins or sanitary pads. On the sides of certain pads, there is additional material. These “wings” fold over the underwear edges to help keep the pad in place and prevent leakage.
