Steps on How To Wear Contact Lens

Wash your hands

Before handling your contact lenses, it is important to wash your hands with soap and water. Dry your hands with a lint-free towel to avoid getting any fibers on the lenses.

Open the package

Open the package of your contact lenses and inspect them for any damage or defects. Make sure that the lens is not inside out, as this can cause discomfort.

Place the lens on your fingertip

Hold the contact lens on the tip of your index finger. Make sure that the lens is facing the correct way by inspecting the shape. It should be a dome shape, not a bowl shape.

Use your other hand to hold your eyelid open

With your other hand, gently pull your upper eyelid up and your lower eyelid down to create a larger space for the contact lens to go in.

Place the lens on your eye

With your dominant hand, slowly and gently place the lens on your eye. Make sure that the lens is centered on your eye and not off to the side.
