Facial pimples is often visible on the face. It is common in teenagers and young adults. It is often red. It is an ‘inflamed spot on the surface of the skin that is usually painful and filled with pus” It bumps with white pus at its tips.
It is not permanent but can penetrate deep into the skin and cause permanent scars when they heal.
It is pimples. It is also called acne. It can be annoying and painful.
Overproduction of oil and a build-up of bacteria contribute to pimples. Areas of the skin that have the largest number of functional oil glands, such as the face, neck, chest, back and shoulders, are often affected.
It can be treated using over-the-counter creams and cleansers, as well as prescription antibiotics. And that’s all? When it comes to pimples treatment, there is no magic product or routine that is right for every person and situation.
- Skincare treatment
According to the American Academy of Dermatologist Association (AADA), acne blemish can be treated when you try washing your face twice daily with an acne face wash that contains benzoyl peroxide or salicylic acid. But
If you have a lot of papules (a small, inflammatory, irritated spot on the skin, similar in appearance to a pimple, but not containing pus) it can be helpful to see a dermatologist.
In your next trip to the mart, look out also for exfoliating cleansers, mild scrubs, exfoliants and masks. These facials for acne may contain salicylic acid in a concentration that makes it a very mild peeling agent. These products remove the outer layer of the skin and thus open pores.
- Natural remedies
For obvious reasons, you might want to ply the natural route. Some pimples products might lead to side effects like dryness, redness, and discolouration.
- Grapes: So grab a few fresh grapes from your fridge, and you’ve got an easy facial cleanser. Cut two or three grapes in half and rub the flesh over your face and neck, a dermatologist recommends this for mild pimples.
- Cucumber & oat: “Make a paste by blending one small cucumber and 1 cup of oatmeal,” says Dr Cook-Bolden. Mix 1 teaspoon [tsp] of this paste with 1 tsp of yoghurt and apply it to your face. Leave it on for 30 minutes, and then rinse.
- Honey: Rinse your face with warm water. Then apply the honey and leave it on the skin for 30 minutes. Rinse the honey off with warm water.
After exploring the above-mentioned treatment and there aren’t significant signs of improvement or you feel discouraged. Do not give up. Sometimes, the intervention of a professional (dermatologist) is all that’s required for an effective outcome.
