Hair routine and spas might be the answer. It is an effective anti-dandruff treatment for your hair and scalp. Hair and scalp treatments remove pollution, chemicals and toxins, it also helps maintain oil balance in the scalp.

Regular hair mask treatments make hair smooth, healthy, and shiny. Hair masks should be a part of your hair care routine, even when you get dandruff-free hair. If you don’t feel like going to a beauty salon, you can try some home remedies.

Take control of dandruff using these steps 

Start with a massage

A hair massage will help nourish the hair and stimulate the blood flow to the scalp. Choose between olive oil, almond oil, coconut oil, olive oil or shea butter; then you will apply the oil to your scalp.

Wrap your hair in a hot towel

Because you don’t have a hairdryer in your house, you can use a hot towel to wrap your hair after the hair massage. You will dip a towel into hot water and squeeze off the excess water, and then you will cover your hair with the hot towel for good steam; this will give your hair strength and nutrient.

Scrub and wash your hair with clean water

Now, you can make use of shampoo to clean your hair. You have to scrub gently to remove the excess oil in your scalp.

Apply a hair mask

You can apply a branded hair mask or make your natural hair mask at home. Leave it for half an hour before washing it off with shampoo, or you can also leave it to stay in your hair if you don’t mind the smell.

Onion masks

Get a big size onion and blend until smooth; apply it to your hair from the roots to the tips. Leave it for about an hour, then wash it off with a mild shampoo. Repeat this method every month.

Neem masks

You can either boil or blend some neem leaves; after that, you wash your hair for 10 to 15 minutes with the cool water or blended paste extracted for the neem leaves. Repeat this twice a month.

You can also prepare a neem and coconut mask by blending neem leaves with coconut oil to form a smooth paste and then apply gently to the scalp. Repeat this method every month

Peppermint oil and Camphor

Mix the two ingredients to form a paste. Apply into your hair, from the roots to tips and leave it to rest for an hour before washing it off.

It is the ultimate method; it provides immediate results after application and if you don’t mind the smell, you can leave it on your scalp. Repeat this method every three months.

Apply hair cream or oil.

You can either apply hair cream or oil to your scalp daily. It helps strengthen the hair and provide nutrients for the scalp.

However, excess dandruff doesn’t go off completely in just one hair spa or treatment. So, don’t lose hope and repeat these treatments and steps for months to see the result.
